Cortese Moves Closer To His Barca Vision

Cortese has been quoted as saying previously that he dreams of turning Southampton into an English Barcelona.

He has guided Saints from administration in the third tier of English football back up to the Premier League and done so a lot quicker than had been planned.

After the dismissal of Nigel Adkins and implementation of Mauricio Pochettino as our new manager, Nicola has now brought in the three men who will help Mauricio oversee our further progress.

The three men are, Jesús Pérez, Miguel D'Agostino and Toni Jiménez and they alongside manager Pochettino now form the Club's First Team management staff.

Only time will tell whether this will work. We do know though that Nicola has nailed his colours to the mast and will sink or swim with this decision.

I sincerely hope it is a success.

He has shown more balls than he is credited with by some.
