Schneiderlin - Back The New Gaffer
Morgan Schneiderlin has said all the players are backing Mauricio Pochettino, and in many ways that was seen from the Everton performance.
Speaking to Sky Sports the midfielder said that all the players were right behind the new gaffer and they would be doing their best to continue our progression in the league and to continue to steady the foundations Nigel put in place.
No doubt the players were well aware of the feelings surrounding Adkins' departure, so they themselves must have been pleased with the reception Pochettino received.
'Everyone is behind the new coaching staff and the new gaffer, and tonight we showed that. We put in a good shift and I think we could have won the game. The gaffer told us that we had seven clear chances in the first half, so we could have scored. That's football, when you don't score, you are exposed to conceding but today we stuck in there.'
Very valuable point with off pitch matters lately.
