We loved our Nige, and enjoyed two and a half years of almost non stop pure bliss.
Mauricio Pochettino now has the reins, and it sounds as though his remit is to get Saints into the top six at least, of the Premier League.
He is known to favour introducing young players to the first team as and when he feels that they are ready.
He has shown that he has the strength of character to drop any player that he deems to be below the standard that he wants.
His style of play is similar to that we have become used to but at a higher tempo.
Although his answers to questions have come through a translator he comes across as a man who shows respect to those that deserve it.
I have a hunch that we have a man that will lead us further on our journey to our Eldorado.
Am I right?
Will this appointment guide us closer to the top of the table?
Or will we end up with egg on our faces?
Let us know your thoughts.

If we'd have lost and the team had dipped in their effort against Everton, I'd have been very worried. But thankfully our players get this is what happens in football so are doing their best for the new man, and he's also seemed sensible enough to not tinker too quickly on what we are good at. We'll have moments no doubt, but I do more think now post Everton, that Poch will build on what we were good at under Nige, and then hopefully improve on other areas where we can clearly do better. But make it an evolution rather than a revolution where everything is torn up.
