Saints Seaborne Happy With Cherries Loan Deal

Having beaten the odds to play football again, helping Cherries stamp their Championship dream ticket should be a breeze for Dan Seaborne.

Just 16 months ago, Seaborne was laid up in Southampton General Hospital having been the victim of a brutal attack outside a nightclub in the city. Serious and, at the time, potentially life-threatening head injuries had left his career in the balance.

Today Dan is sitting in the press room at Dean Court looking perfectly at ease and a picture of health.

He played in the game at Hartlepool where a 2-1 win helped lift the Cherries into the play-off places for the first time this season.

He is enjoying his life again and we hope that whatever lies in front of him in the future he continues to enjoy his football.

It will do Dan good to get regular game time and he might even end up staying with the Cherries.

Amen to that.

Have to agree as he won't get much game time with us if any. Solid defender with limitations but reliable at what he can do.

Dan never looked comfortable and the move could be just what he needs.
