Saints Will Thrive At Old Trafford

Saints Will Thrive At Old Trafford

Well no one can doubt Mauricio Pochettino's ambition as we gear up to visit Man United.

Speaking to saintsfc Poch said the players would relish the trip to Old Trafford.

'Going to Old Trafford represents an extra motivation for us and for the players. Any player enjoys playing in these mythical stadiums, so it's an opportunity for us to develop our game and the way that we play. Our mentality always has to be win. We want to win and we want the squad to feel that mentality of winning. We definitely respect Manchester United, but we're going with a mentality to win and we'll see how the game proceeds.'

Good performance first, and then hopefully whatever else follows can be a good bonus.

Like the sound of it but words are often far easier to say than do.

Can't expect him to say much else though can we? Not much point going if we don't believe we have a chance.

This will be the biggest game of the season for our boys and hopefully they will be ready to show us their best form.
