Should Saints Loan Out Youngsters For Experience?

Loaning out players can be beneficial in two ways. First it gives one of our hot prospects valuable match time. The player can improve with the experience in ways that playing against other youngsters of a similar age doesn't necessarily teach.

Secondly it can also show whether the player is as good as we hope. It is possible for a player to show nothing and to go backwards in our estimation.

We are not renowned for being a club that loans players we hold in high regard out but should this be a move that we aught to consider more often?

As always there are two sides to an argument, but what do you think is the right way forward?

We should sometimes loan out our best prospects so they get some match play. Only way to learn is to play.

I don't think a few month long loans spells would do those not getting pitch time any harm, different experience, game time, give them a taste.
