'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lallana Happy With Pochettino

After the manager Mauricio Pochettino made two changes at half time Saints came out and completely dominated the second half without being able to add a finishing touch to their scintillating play.

Talking to the Saints Player Adam said,'We created chances and put lots of crosses into the box but didn't have that real, clear-cut chance.'

'We are disappointed but we're happy with how we played in that second half.'

He also explained how pleased he was to be back and that he had not been expecting to play so soon, and was surprised he had played as early as the 45th minute.

Adam concluded by saying, 'Surprisingly I felt really good and really fit. I'm so excited to get back playing under the new manager. The work that the medical team and physiotherapists have done with me has paid dividends, and I feel as fresh as I've felt all season.'

Glad to see you back Adam as we near the crucial end of the season.

It was noticeable how we improved after half time with the changes made. Adam has been missed and Shaw replacing Fox was also a necessary substitution.

He must be delighted to be back and he did make us look better. Pity he couldn't take his chance.

Just good to see him back, training and more games will see him sharper.
