'If It's Football, It's Vital'

JWP Off To Coventry?

My first reaction is 'what?'....however my second reaction is this could be a good thing for the lads development.

Now James has done proud for us this season really, he's not the finished article and he'll only get there with games giving him that experience that makes him become the player we all think he could.

The question is, will he develop better with games here, and sub appearances, or could he find a new side to his game in the lower leagues.

I actually think a short term deal would do him the world of good. Give him a new perspective, a taste (no disrespect to Coventry) of lower leagues, the facilities, experience of a club struggling - because after a quick search they have stadium issues - and not only be professional enough to be mentally strong enough to do a job for them, but also realise how quickly things can change in football for not only clubs, but players, if they don't keep their feet on the ground.

I'd expect him to leave Coventry, with their fans wishing he didn't.

Was thinking that this would be a chance for him to develop as well. It could help him no end and Coventry as well at the same time. Win, win.

Agree this might be a good move if it comes off. Always felt he needed toughening up and this might be an eye opener for him.

Doesn't look like it is happening.
