Lallana Out To Impress Pochettino

It's a case of deja vu for Adam Lallana again, as he's been out injured the last two times we've changed our manager and had to impress on his return.

Speaking to Sky Sports Lallana said.

'I have been itching to get back now the whole team. I've been there or thereabouts, I am fully fit and eagerly hoping to get some time from the start. I was injured when Nigel Adkins came in so I've experienced similar to this.'

Adam admitted it was frustrating because he wants to be out there playing, but he realises he just has to impress the new manager in training and then take his chances when he does get on the pitch.

He admits that the language barrier problem as built up by the press isn't an issue as the coaching staff who Pochettino appointed can all speak English well, so Poch's ideas in training come clearly across, as do the things the players want to say.

It is good to hear that the team have no problem understanding the way that they will be expected to train and play.

Even better to hear that Adam is fit and raring to go. We have need of his talent more now with there possibly being 3 or 4 out.

Adam is a good player and we need him now to stay fit.
