Saints U18's Beat Bolton U18's

Saints U18's Beat Bolton U18's

Saints lined up with Will Britt in goal and he made two excellent saves to keep a clean sheet for the Saints.

A Sam Gallagher header after half an hour put Jason Dodd`s side in front before Bevis Mugabi doubled the advantage early in the second period.

A good result after the drubbing they received last week. A beaming Jason Dodd said, 'We were excellent today.'

"We were really disappointed after last week`s display (5-1 defeat at Fulham) and we were looking for the boys to bounce back today.

"We`re never going to hear the last of it with Bevis Mugabi (scoring his first goal of the season) because we`ve been challenging him for weeks to get on the score sheet."

Saints U18s: Britt, Leggett, Mugabi, McCarthy, Wood, Gape, Flannigan, Ariyibi (Hesketh 80), Reed, McQueen, Gallagher (Higgins 70). Subs (not used): White, Mason, Sims
