Steven Davis Eyes Ending Career At Rangers

Steven Davis Eyes Ending Career At Rangers

Steven Davis the Northern Ireland midfielder,28, moved last summer to Southampton who reportedly paid Rangers 'newco' £800,000 for him after the club sank into liquidation.

Davis had been a popular favourite of the fans before he left and some still feel anger at his departure. Davis though has always insisted that he only left so that the club could survive.

He is a player that will always give his all and of late has been showing the form that we will need as we continue to fight for points. If he continues to play with the energy and commitment that he has been producing he will become as popular here as he was at Ibrox.

Hopefully we will see him at his best while with Saints and if we do I am sure our fans will wish him well if he does manage a return to the Glasgow giants.

Be better if he concentrates on playing well for us rather than dream about future possibilities.

I know players are asked questions, but when they aren't on top form sometimes they should avoid answering. I don't think anybody minds these sorts of interviews, but Davis is only just starting to find his form at the moment, keep that going as I think he will now, and nobody will remember this.
