Dodd's Delighted With Young Charges

Dodd's Delighted With Young Charges

Jason Dodd has said the U18 side showed their true colours in a 'majestic' display against Manchester United.

The youngsters took on the United side at Staplewood and came out as 4-2 winners after controlling large parts of the game, earning themselves back to back victories in the Elite Group of the league.

Speaking to saintsfc Dodd's said.

'I think we deserved it as we created a good few chances. It was a bit scrappy and niggly, so for us to score four goals is fantastic. I thought the players were excellent today.'

Dodd's does add that they are disappointed to concede two, but it's a talented United side they were up against, so it's something that they can learn from and work on again in training to improve further.

The boys needed the win badly and they fought hard to get it. Well done lads.
