Poch - Keep Looking Forward

Poch - Keep Looking Forward

Mauricio Pochettino has said Southampton won't be looking back as we get back to the football this weekend, he wants us looking forward and remaining focused.

Speaking to saintsfc Poch said the break had changed nothing in the attitude of the squad.

'We have the same expectations and ambitions. We want to go to Newcastle and get the three points. We know that whatever has happened in football in the past doesn't count for anything in the future, so we will keep moving forwards.'

Poch did also say that the break in some ways has been helpful again because it has enabled him to spend better time with the squad, explaining his thoughts and working with them on things he wants to change and improve on, and of course it has allowed him to get to know the players better on a personal note without the pressures of an impending matchday.
