Morgan's Our Bad Omen

Morgan Schneiderlin has promised he'll stop scoring in the Premier League after bagging his fourth goal of the season.

The stats show that in each game Morgan finds the net in, Southampton don't go on to win the match, and he's beginning to wonder if he's an unlucky omen for us.

Speaking to saintsfc after the Newcastle game, the midfielder said.

'I'm happy, yet still frustrated that every time I score we never win. If we keep drawing or losing then I'm going to stop scoring!'

As for the way we defended on the day, Schneiderlin concurs with the manager in talking about mistakes.

'I'm not sure that we were two goals worse than Newcastle, but we didn't play as we should have and it's frustrating because when you score two away from you should at least get a point.'

Perhaps they should bring him on as a sub!

Don't get nothing when you muck up way we did today. It was a disaster.

The problem might simply be that the team needs to adjust. if Morgan is bombing forward more we need someone to cover his position.

You make a good point ghg and one which I am certain will be taken care of in the future. Beginning to wonder what Ramirez brings to the table because the fare so far has been less than hoped for.
