Puncheon Signs For Three More Years

A little over a year ago Saints fans would not have complained if Jason Puncheon had left never to be seen at St Mary's again. We all thought of him as trouble not worth bothering about.

How things can change. After he made some remarks on the internet he had a meeting with chairman Nicola Cortese and after the clear the air confrontation Jason was brought back in from the cold.

Now after 27 games in which Jason has played many of, we have seen the player begin to show his worth. In fact it is no fabrication to say that he has been one of our best players and has been so consistently.

The change in him has been simply astonishing and I for one am more than happy to see him sign for another three years.

My thought on seeing the headline was that this is great news as far as I'm concerned. It's testament to club and player that hatchets have been buried and it's been to the benefit of both.

Never thought I would say this but I thoroughly agree though still concerned about the future if we find someone else.

Still don't trust the man. He will soon start to mess about now he has three years wages to look forward to. A leopard don't and can't change it's spots.
