Adkins & Saints At Loggerheads?
I can't find anymore on this other than the original report in the Daily Star, but it seems Nigel Adkins and Nicola Cortese are at odds on how to settle his contract?
The report is here, but whether this is tabloid fluff or has some substance, I don't know as yet.
The Star say that Nigel Adkins has been forced to turn down job offers because he's effectively on gardening leave and still being paid monthly by the club, which suits Cortese, but with Nigel wanting to get back into work he needs his contract paid up so he can break from the club and be contracted again.
They suggest that with discussions not really getting anywhere on that score, that Nigel may be forced into legal action to force the issue.
Especially as it's rumoured that Adkins has been lined up by Leeds for the summer should Neil Warnock resign if they fail to make promotion.
Hopefully this won't turn into an unhappy saga and be another off pitch distraction as surely we've had enough of those already this season.

Saints are doing what other clubs do and are payingNigel monthly. I imagine that they are looking for him to come to an arrangement but he wants the full whack.

More anti Saints rubbish. Many times a club will put a manager on gardening leave while sorting out a deal.
