Saints Showing More Fight
Saints played away to Norwich and showed much more steel than they had in the previous two games against Newcastle away, and QPR at home. Both were games which Saints dominated but defensive mistakes cost us dear.
Today we again had the better of the game but today it was our failure to take any of the clear cut chances which fell our way.
The defensive side of our game seemed much better and though we had a couple of close squeaks we always seemed to be in control. We managed frequently to thwart Norwich with last ditch tackles and kept Norwich to three chances.
Good work all round as the whole team seemed more determined today than recently to block any threats. A good sign in my book.

Saints fans were superb today and they certainly backed the spirit that our team showed. Much better defensively

Disappointing to not capitalise on our chances again, but plenty of confidence can be taken from the defensive improvements and clean sheet. Just have to make sure we build on it now to keep that gap between us and the bottom three.

Lala could have had a hat trick yesterday. Just one would have been nice.

Maybe a fluke will start us off. If we show the same drive for our remaining games we will be ok.
