Saints Face Liverpool With A Packed House
Strange as it may seem I am really looking forward to the hosting of Liverpool as we continue the fight against relegation.
Liverpool have a great heritage and have had some great players wear their colours. Ray Clemence, Bruce Grobbelaar, Ian Rush, John Barnes, Graeme Souness, Steve Heighway, Roger Hunt, Emlynn Hughes, Steven Gerrard, Kevin Keegan and John Toshack are but a few of the names that roll of the tongue.
With all of that we have still done well at times against the mighty red machine. In fact we have a good record at home to Liverpool with us winning 18 times at home, drawing 10 and losing just 11 times.
Statistics which give us hope for this weekend even though the 'Pool are on a good run and have just turned over Tottenham.
As I say this is a game which I have anticipated for a while and one in which I truly believe we have a chance of securing some points from.
