Forren Will Have An Impact

Claus Lundekvam has said that Vegard Forren will get his chance and have an impact in the Premiership for Southampton.

Speaking to the Daily Echo about his compatriot, he said.

'I thought Vegard would have played by now, but I've always said it shouldn't be easy to walk into a Premier League side. He would have liked his chance earlier but when he came in he needed time to get match fit and the team was defensively solid and playing pretty well. I'm sure he'll get his chance sooner rather than later.'

We are all looking forward to seeing what Forren can offer us, a few more U21 games to add some consistency of performance to what has to be an improved fitness level now, could well see him get his chance in the coming weeks.
