Saints Are Safe

Saints Are Safe

Sunderland will still be casting nervous glances below them but even they could be safe after the draw today with Saints.

Newcastle and Norwich both gained wins but the point gained at the Stadium of Light is enough for Saints to become safe from the threat of relegation.

Wigan play away to Arsenal and even if they win that game Saints know that Wigan v Aston Villa on the last day of the season can't give both teams the three points.

So now we can begin to look forward to next season and hopefully a better start to the season than we managed this.

One thing is for sure, and that is that we will need to spend some money in the transfer window. For now though we can enjoy the feeling that we are safe.

Relaxation at last as we just cannot be caught by both Wigan and Villa.
