Duo Named In England U21 Squad

Nathaniel Clyne and Luke Shaw have been called into the U21 side for the 2013 UEFA European U21 Championship finals.

The 23 man squad travel to Israel for the competition between June 5 and June 18.

Jack Butland (Stoke City), Declan Rudd (Norwich City), Jason Steele (Middlesbrough), Steven Caulker (Tottenham Hotspur), NATHANIEL CLYNE (SOUTHAMPTON), Craig Dawson (West Bromwich Albion), Tom Lees (Leeds United), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), LUKE SHAW (SOUTHAMPTON), Adam Smith (Tottenham Hotspur), Andre Wisdom (Liverpool), Nat Chalobah (Watford - on loan from Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Tom Ince (Blackpool), Henri Lansbury (Nottingham Forest), Jason Lowe (Blackburn Rovers), Josh McEachran (Chelsea), Callum McManaman (Wigan Athletic), Jonjo Shelvey (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Queens Park Rangers - on loan from Tottenham Hotspur), Marvin Sordell (Bolton Wanderers), Connor Wickham (Sunderland), Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace - on loan from Manchester United).

Would be especially nice if Luke can get a game after missing the chance in the last two times he was selected.

These sorts of experiences can only aide their development with us can't it. Be especially nice if Lukey can get his cap with the injuries he's had.
