Saints Elite Centre Still Has Places Available

Saints have announced that they will have an open day for the Saints Academy link-up with Sparsholt College is being held on Wednesday 29th May.

The second-chance programme, which has been established in order to give 16-19 year-olds a route back into football, is a new initiative that promises not to close the door on young players, whilst also providing qualifications to study for alongside playing.

The Elite Centre is based at Sparsholt college near Winchester, and enables players who have been released from professional clubs, including Southampton, to remain in football and education, so that those who are late developers or just missed out on a scholarship, have a chance to work their way back into the game.

Anyone seeking an opportunity to further develop their football and extend their academic qualifications is urged to contact the College with a view to attending one of the Open Days or join them for a day`s trial/training by arrangement. Click for a leaflet of Sparsholt College Elite Centre information

For further details, please contact Neil Benson, Football Academy Manager on 07860 150075 or Neil.Benson@Sparsholt.ac.uk Furthermore, you can contact the Academy Team on 01962 797588.
