Saints Sign Up Next Team Of Scholars

Saints Sign Up Next Team Of Scholars

With a player for each position, Saints will be getting one of the largest intakes that they have had for a few seasons. In what is the first major step forwards to getting a full time contract the scholars will be expected to play occasionally in the Saints Under 18's team.

The 2013 crop hail from a variety of backgrounds with some having played for the Academy at junior level for as long as they can remember, whilst other more recent additions have been attracted to the Club due to its track record of producing first team and international footballers.

The academy is enjoying a growing reputation and will hopefully be continuing to do so. For all of the youngsters this will be a time of nerves as they learn to live in strange surroundings with their foster families.

To all we wish them well and look forward to seeing some of them in our colours soon.

Our reputation is growing and all we have to do is keep on helping the youngsters to make the grade to draw more our way.

Do that girl and look out for Targett at left back because he will be pushing Luke hard for a place soon.
