Lovren Will Settle No Problems

Lovren Will Settle No Problems

Striker Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez have tipped Dejan Lovren to settle quickly at St Mary's and start producing on the pitch.

Speaking to saintsfc whilst discussing the return to training, Lambert said of our new defensive signing - who's still yet to join up for pre season training.

'I didn't know too much about him, but I've read up on him and he will be a very good addition to the squad. I haven't met him yet, but I can't wait. Hopefully he'll help push us on.'

Lambert adds that the team believe in themselves, but they know Pochettino will be adding further quality to help improve them, and he hopes we can get them in early so they can adjust over pre season.

Jay Rodriguez said elsewhere on saintsfc that with how welcome he was made to feel by the players when he joined, he has no concerns that Lovren won't feel right at home when he joins us after his extended break owing to international duty.

'It's nerve wracking when you come to a new team, but the way they welcomed me in was really nice. I'm sure we'll do that again so it'll be a nice experience for him as well.'
