'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Schneiderlin Looking To Improve Further

Player of the Season Morgan Schneiderlin has said he's pleased to be back in training now, and he's looking to improve his own performances in the league next season.

Speaking to saintsfc the midfielder said he knew himself he had a good season last term, but he believes there is more to come from him and he wants to do even better this time round.

'It's up to me to work hard now and to manage myself to be ready. Physically I'm feeling good - the rest is going to be good for me.'

Schneiderlin adds that for the first two weeks of his holiday he just tried to switch off, ignore football, and relax and enjoy himself but once that two week period was over he started running and doing some fitness work every other day to help ease himself back into it.

Morgan was our star last season and should be pushing for a full international slot with France.

Morgan Schneiderlin has been our outstanding player for a while. He has grown with the club and any conuing improvement will only be for the better of the club.

Yup, a second season of consistency should have him knocking on the international door really.

To be honest I am slightly relieved that nobody has bid for him. At least not that we have heard.
