Saints Are Interested In Three Big Signings

The Saints boss is looking to overhaul the squad he inherited from Nigel Adkins last season and has already brought in Dejan Lovren from Lyon, in a deal worth 8.5million.

With rumours gathering pace about several players he is interested in, the Argentinian was happy to clarify the club`s current position.

Pochettino said: 'We manage a lot of information about very good players. One of them is Leandro Damiao, also Ever Banega and also Victor Wanyama. 'We are managing the situation as well as we can at the moment.

'The main thing is that we as a club are managing when these negotiations happen. We are managing when these players are going to be signed and how we sign them.

Mauricio also said that although the club had wanted to do their business before now there was no increase of pressure to complete deals asap.

He also stressed that he is happy with the squad as it is but reinforcements would be welcome. As a fan it is good to know that sometimes rumours of interest can be close to the truth.

We have the core, we have to add quality and options but I'm really no sold with Wanyama given the quotes.

Nor me but if Mauricio reckons he can do a job for us and can control him why not? The other two I would also love to see here though am not overly confident.
