Ramirez Makes Hull Loan Move

Ramirez Makes Hull Loan Move

Well I thought he wasn't for sale, but Gaston Ramirez has tonight joined Hull City on a loan deal that will see him through until the end of the season.

A brief statement from Saintsfc says that with the 23 year old wanting to get more regular first team football under his belt, the decision has been taken to allow him to leave 'temporarily' to increase his chances of that first team action - especially given recent additions to the squad by new manager Ronald Koeman.

I'm not sure a season long loan on the first of September is qualified by the word short term, but there you go.

Since joining us from Bologna back in 2012 for £12 million, Ramirez has gone on to make 50 appearances, and he has scored eight goals for us.

With this deal now confirmed, following some speculation, we await the confirmation of defender Jos Hooiveld's loan to Norwich I guess.

We are still supposed to be close to getting another two incoming deals over the line as well, but news is quiet on that front.
