£5 million bid for Bale
MANCHESTER UNITED have reported offered £5million for Gareth Bale.
The Guardian newspaper has reported the bid today.
Although United gaffer Sir Alex wouldn't confirm the approach he did say he was working on 'a couple of things', the paper believes that his couple of things happen to be Southampton left back Gareth Bale and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
