Get off Rasiak's Back

Get off Rasiak's Back

SOUTHAMPTON gaffer George Burley has spoken out about some sections of the SMS crowd who criticise Polish striker Grzegorz Rasiak.

Speaking to the Echo, Burley said: 'Grzegorz is not the type of centre forward who is going to run about the opposition back four and make crunching tackles - that's not his game.

'Some supporters criticise but Grzegorz is technically very good and is a continental striker.

'They are not as aggressive as British players but it is something Grzegorz is working at.

'But at the end of the day you look at the end product and nobody can complain about Grzegorz's end product'.

i cant beleave that ppl are getting on his back, i mean who can argue with 18 goals so far this season!! what a joke. So sometimes he appears a bit lazy.... but i can think of a very famous former saint we all say that about. He does need to step up his goal tally at sms but to be fair to raziak, if it wasent for him, god knows were we'd be in the table... certainly not 4th
