Bale to Man United - 90% certain

BROADSHEET newspaper the Guardian has reported this morning that Gareth Bale is 90% certain to join Manchester United THIS month.

The transfer saga already feels like it has dragged on longer than Cashley Cole's move to Chelsea.

Various sources have reported that Bale is set to stay until at least the end of the season.

The Mirror reported over the weekend that Bale is set to move at the end of the season for £8 million, but that report appears to have been denied.

Today the Guardian has reported: sources indicating the 17-year-old is '90% certain' to leave Southampton for Old Trafford before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

They also report that the deal will be significantly higher than the £5.5 million bid that they have already made with Southampton believed to be after a £10 million fee.

They also believe that Tottenham Hotspur have had a £8million offer rejected by Saints.
