Youth to take on Man Utd

SAINTS youth team take on Manchester United in the fourth round of the Youth FA Cup tonight.

American sensation Andrew Giallombardo will play for Southampton tonight.

Speaking to the Echo he said: 'Manchester United have such a great reputation all over the world. They were one of the few English teams I could watch on ESPN back in the States so it's very exciting. This game is all we can talk about at the moment.'

Giallombardo was spotted by Southampton while captaining the United States Under 17's side.

If Southampton can get past Manchester United, they will have a home tie against Plymouth in the fifth round.

Youth team coach Georges Prost told the official site: 'But with strong commitment and fighting spirit then we have a good chance and we are very optimistic.
