Saint's U18 Knocked Out Of Cup

Saints U18 lost 2-0 to Manchester United U18 last night to be knocked out of the FA Youth Cup at the earliest stage for 4 years.

After losing in the final 2 years back and reaching the semi-final last year, this season Saints U18 could only manage the fourth round.

However Saints U18 coach George Prost was more disappointed with the manner of the goals his team conceded, both were very similar, both came from a cross and consequent shot which was saved and then tapped in on the re-bound. Saints U18 started brightly but after going 2-0 down by half time they never really looked like getting back into it.

Speaking to Saintsfc.co.uk the Saints U18 coach George Prost said 'We did not play well and did not compete. We did not show our real value and that was disappointing to me. You can take a defeat if you have played your best and given it a good go but we did not do ourselves justice
