Burley wants to also keep Prutton

The media spot light as been firmly placed on Gareth Bale's possible departure, but Burley is also keen on keeping David Prutton.

Prutton has been linked with possible moves to Nottingham Forest and Hull City.

Hull City manager Phil Brown, even told the local media that he had, had a bid for the Saints midfielder accepted.

But on the official site, Burley has said: 'David Prutton was in the squad today but he has been out for three and half months with a nasty ankle injury and there are not many Reserve games to get him fit.

'There has been interest and I have spoken to David and told him if he is keen to stay then I am keen to keep him.'
