Arsenal in for Bale

Arsenal in for Bale

SKY SPORTS NEWS are reporting that Arsenal have now officially joined the race to sign Gareth Bale.

Arsene Wenger is keen to rob the Saints of another young talent after taking Theo Walcott from SMS this time last season.

Sky Sports News have also reported that Bale has already had a guided tour of White Hart Lane with Spurs boss Martin Jol.

I honestly think they are barking up the wrong tree with Arsenal being in for him. It would mean that Wenger doesn't rate Clichy and I don't believe that for a minute.

I'd have to agree with Hatespur. With Glichy playing as well as he has and Traore looking the part, there is no reason why AW would need another LB.

Sky sports change their minds on a daily basis. The only way I can see Wenger going after Bale is if he thinks he would be better as a left winger rather than in defence!! Anyway sky sports are also saying that southampton have actually agreed a deal with spurs so it all seems tied up to me!!
