Bale expected to turn down Spurs

REPORTS suggest that Gareth Bale is set to turn down a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

It is widely believed that Southampton and Tottenham agreed a fee for the 17 year old Welsh International, but reports now suggest that Bale will turn down the move and remain at Saints until at least the end of the season.

Smoke and Mirrors as usual from us. We are all mouth and no trousers - We were never going to spend 10m on a kid.

He's already going to united in the summer

Andy, climb off the chair and take the rope from your neck. It had nothing to do with Spurs offer - he wants to go to Man U, who wants a player that doesn't want to play for you?

As far as I am concerned, go and enjoy ... we can invest that 10 million somewhere else ..

He's an attacking fullback who supports arsenal. If he goes to Spurs even at 17 he must accept that he won't be able to join Arsenal ever without getting some serious hatemail so its a big decision, i expect him to get over it and be the customary Spurs last gasp signing, probably around 00:05 1st Feb
Fabregas
I agree with Fabregas. There are no smoke and mirrors involved. We want him, we'll pay for him and he's deciding whether to wait for a dream move.

would still rather have mgp of blackburn!!!

I can't say i'm surprised, if he wanted to go to Spurs he would have jumped at the chance earlier this month. He wants to stay, for the time being at least, so everyone leave him alone. God I can't wait for Thursday.
