Wenger calls for patience with Theo

ARSENAL manager Arsene Wenger has called for fans patience regarding Theo Walcott.

Theo is yet to find the net for his new club, despite joining them over a year ago.

Walcott has made 24 appearances for Arsenal since his £5,000,000 move but his lack of goals do not concern the Frenchman.

Speaking to the Echo he said: 'I do not mind that he has not scored.

'In the past he has scored goals for fun. At the moment he had not scored, so it must play a part on his mind.

'What convinces me is he is such a good finisher in training and the way he took his last two chances was a bit hesitant.

'That means it is playing certainly a big part on his mind.'

'You forget that this boy is not even 18 years of age.

'Just let him play, give him the needed confidence.

He needs a run of starting in every game, im sorry but at Arsenal he is just no gonna get that. Its no good playing him in meaning less games and bringing of the bench every now and then. What a waste of talent.....................................Gareth Bale Take Note
