Bale saga rumbles on

Bale saga rumbles on

THE TRANSFER WINDOW may have shut until the summer but the Gareth Bale transfer saga looks set to run for the remainder of the season.

The Sun have reported that the 17 year old Welsh International snubbed a move to Tottenham Hotspur as he wants to join Manchester United in the summer.

Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur had agreed on a £10 million transfer and loan back agreement according to South Today.

The loan back deal would have seen Gareth Bale return to Southampton on loan for the next 18 months (the remainder of his contract), but Bale rejected the move.

It is now believed that Manchester United will sign Bale over the summer.
