Jones on scoring again

Jones on scoring again

AS reported on Vital Southampton yesterday, Kenwyne Jones has a great scoring record in matches involving Sheffield Wednesday.

2 years ago the striker spent a few months at Sheffield Wednesday on loan, he scored 7 goals in 7 appearances as Wednesday won promotion from league one.

After last night, Jones has played four times against Wednesday, scoring 5 goals.

He told the official site: 'Sheffield Wednesday seem to be my good luck charm. I did well on loan there and I have scored every time I have played them.

'But although it feels great to score two goals, the three points were the most important thing because it is so tight near the top.

There is no room for error now and we have to try and win every game if we are to get promoted. I believe we have a very strong chance but we cannot slip up.

'We have played every other team and I don't think we have anything to fear from any of them although they will make it hard.
