Wenger eyes a chance to sign Bale

ARSENE Wenger has said that with Bale remaining at Southampton he still has a chance to sign the youngster.

It had been believed that Arsenal had lost interest in signing the 17 year old Welsh International. But Wenger openly admitted, that there was still a chance that Arsenal could make a bid for him, he told Arsenal's official site: "The good thing is that we still have a chance. He's a special talent."

i personally feel that if you take the set-piece ability out of his game, you are left with a very average, barely premiership standard player and i would think it crazy to sign him for us.

You lot see him all the time, is he really that good?? I have only seen bits & pieces & any player can be made to look good on youtube.

still not sure whether bale would be a worthwhile signign - no disrespect to the kid, but we have an excelling left back in clichy, improving with every game, and a trememndous prospect in Traore... »»Arsene Knows««

I hope we can keep him in the summer. because if we do go up, which i think we can, then he will definatley help us survive in the premiership.
saint-matt
He is certainly more than just a set piece specialist.
Archer
yes your right there archer. he does have one wicked free-kick but he is also an exerlant all round player.
