Saints reserves win 4-0

Southampton Reserves remained top of the Pontins Holidays Combination League Central Division with a 4-0 win against Wycombe.

Goals from David McGoldrick, Josh Dutton-Black, Cedric Baseya and Bradley Wright-Phillips earned the Saints the victory.

Reserves boss Stewart Henderson said: 'It was a good win. We were made to work hard particularly in the first half when we did OK but could have been better.

'In the second half we took control and made life hard for them and created some good chances. It was good for Bradley to get 90 minutes and a goal.'

Saints: Bartosz Bialkowski, Lloyd James, Jake Thomson, Mario Licka, Oliver Lancashire (Sean Rudd 60), Martin Cranie, Nathan Dyer (Cedric Baseya 70), Bradley Wright-Phillips, David McGoldrick, Inigo Idiakez, Josh Dutton-Black (Jamie White 70). Sub: Michael Poke.
