Make or Break for Davis

Kelvin Davis has spoken about the end of season run in and how tense it can be at the top of the table.

Speaking to the Echo: 'When you get to this stage of the season, you do have a little glance at the league.

'You pick up the papers and you watch the sport on TV to see what other teams are doing.

'It's between this stage and the end of the season that can make or break sides - but we're looking to be one of those sides that finish strongly.

'The key is a bit of determination and a relaxed atmosphere.

'You can't work if you're too hot-headed - and, if you relax too much, you don't get the job done.

'For me it's all about the mental side and staying in control'.

It's a fine line to get the balance right, something we dont have much experience with where other sides like Birmingham and Sunderland do

It's make or break for Davis too as whether or not we go up we should look to find a better keeper.
