Saints hit QPR for six

Southampton reserves hammered QPR 6-1 at Staplewood this evening.

QPR took an early lead after Pele gave away a spot kick. Paul Furlong tucked away the penalty.

But after the penalty Saints took charge of the game and brought themselves level through Bradley Wright-Phillips.

Despite Southampton's pressure the half ended 1-1.

QPR might as well have not bothered re-appearing after half time as goals from Wright-Phillips (2), Best, Idiakez (2) and White made the scoreline 6-1.
