Liverpool lad in squad
19 year old Liverpool midfielder Danny Guthrie will go straight into Southampton's squad to face Preston tonight.
The midfielder has made 7 appearances for Liverpool this season and Saints gaffer George Burley said to the Echo: 'He is a creative player who is not afraid to get stuck in.
'He is young and hungry and this is an ideal chance for him to get experience in the Championship.
'It will freshen things up and give us extra options at a critical stage of the season and he will be in the squad for Monday's game.'
