Saints belong in the Premiership

On loan Liverpool midfielder Danny Guthrie believes Southampton belong in the Premiership and he wants to help them get there.

He told the official site: 'Southampton are a massive club who belong in the Premiership and I hope I can help them to get there.

'They have a great stadium and a good fan base and they play the game the right way which is important to me.

I would not have gone out on loan to just any side; it had to be one which plays football and one where I could show my qualities.

'When I got the call asking me if I wanted to come here, it took me only two minutes to say yes and I am already hoping it can be extended.

Southampton are a good team who pass the ball well and I want to be part of that and to help them win promotion.'

HEHE.. I agree that Saints do belong in the prem. The Ground, training facilitys, managment team and the fan base are all premiership standard. The players are capable (When they want to be!) 10 Cup finals till the end of the season for us to get atleast a top 6 finish.
