Signing Idiakez is a dream
QPR manager John Gregory was delighted to sign Idiakez on a months loan.
He told the Echo: 'He's somebody that I have kept a very close eye on, but never in my wildest dreams did I think he would become available.'
Burley joked yesterday that Idiakez still has a major role to play in Southampton's promotion bid. During his loan spell with QPR he will play against Derby, West Brom and Preston so could help take points from Saints' promotion rivals.
