Trio in doubt for Cardiff match

Djamel Belmadi and Jermaine Wright are both doubtful for Tuesday nights game against Cardiff City after picking up knocks yesterday.

Kenwyne Jones also remains a doubt after picking up an ankle injury last week.

Burley told the official site: 'Djamel came in and said he was feeling his calf just 10 minutes before kick-off. He said he was struggling with it so we gave him a fitness test.

'But he felt a sharp pain so we decided it was too great a risk to play him.

'Then Jermaine got a whack on a thigh and had to go off which further disrupted us. Now we will have to see how both settle down ahead of Tuesday.

'We will also have to see if Kenwyne is ready. He has been superb lately so we will have to check on him too.
