Davis Dealt Blow

Davis Dealt Blow

Saints will go into crucial games against Colchester, Wolves and Luton without first-choice keeper Kelvin Davis.

Davis was caught on video kicking out at Stoke City striker Jon Parkin in an off-the-ball incident. Referee Neil Swarbrick did not send off the player as he missed the incident.

Despite improved form of late, Davis has been a scapegoat for fans ever since high-profile blunders against Preston and QPR saw Saints lose ground on promotion rivals.

Davis' ban should open the door for youngster Bartosz Bialkowski. The 6'3 Pole was a revelation last season in his 5 appearances before damaging knee cruciates against Newcastle.
