Burley backs Bart

Burley backs Bart

Bartosz Bialkwoski is set to play for Southampton tonight due to Davis sitting out a 3 match ban.

Davis was charged with misconduct following Southampton's last game.

But with Davis out, Bart will get the chance to try and impress.

Burley told the Echo: 'It would be a big blow if Kelvin was suspended because he was outstanding against Cardiff on Tuesday.

'But then again, we've got Bartosz Bialkowski who we know is a very good young keeper.

'He's had a number of reserve games and from there it's really match situations he needs.

'He's a young player and he's got all the potential.

'He had a very serious knee injury which took him a long time to get over, but he's fully fit now and I'm sure he wouldn't let us down.'
