Davis will now serve a three-match ban after being found guilty of kicking out at Jon Parkin against Stoke.
The goalkeeper will miss tonight's game against Colchester as well as away matches at Wolves and Luton.
Bartosz Bialkowski will come in for Davis and look to build on the impressive start to his Saints career last season.
