Wales need winning mentality

Wales need winning mentality

Wales gaffer John Toshack has called for his side to develop a winning mentality.

But apart from Ryan Giggs the countries best haven't won much else between them.

Toshack told the press: 'We have one player who has won everything over and over and over again.

'But if you look around the rest of the squad, none of them have won anything. It is maybe an attitude that we have to contend with.

'Maybe it is the lack of a winning mentality.

When you have tasted it, you want more of it and when it goes you get worried and want it back.

'A winning mentality was drummed into me at Liverpool but, apart from Ryan Giggs, we are not a group of people who understand and have won a lot'.
